The Presque Isle Historical Society is a member of the Maine Memory Network. There are almost 200 photographs of Presque Isle's past that can be viewed. The Presque Isle Historical Society is a participant in the Maine Community Heritage Project. We are one of eight Maine communities. This project fosters collaborations between historical societies, public libraries, and schools. The University of Maine at Presque Isle, The Mark and Emily Turner Library, Presque Isle High School, Presque ISle Middle School, and the Presque Isle Historical Society are participanta.
